So.... I need some new ideas

I guess I lost my muse for a bit, because I wasn't able to paint for a while. Just wasn't inspired...

Now I'm ready to pick up the brushes but my mind goes blank. I sit just twirling a paintbrush between my fingers in front of a blank canvas waiting for inspiration to strike, and I seem to be having difficulty coming up with the image of something that I want to do.

I'm open to some ideas from anyone and everyone. I've gotten to the point to where I want to paint, but I just haven't been able to come up with some full-fledged ideas.

If you would like me to paint something for you, or you have an idea for me, please let me know!

When the inspiration leaves.... I've taught my students to just 'sketch'. Look around your room, go outside, anything.... draw until you get over that block, it's all beneficial in the long run, hones your skills and keeps your mind off the fact that you aren't inspired, it'll come back when you least expect it. Trust me.
